Salad Dressing was set up in 2002 by Chang huai-yan and Lee Berlin,
who are both architecturally trained.
The principal designer, Chang huai-yan was trained by landscape artist, Michael White.
Combining his training in architecture, he leads the company's vision in
creating landscape with a romantic modernist touch.
The company believes in using new garden and bio-technology techniques when
creating new aesthetics in landscape. We explore with new green roof system as well as
vertical landscape techniques. Artwork that incorporates softscape is the other interest
that we use to animate our garden.
In the current new office in the middle of downtown,
we are exploring vertical
landscape and floating trees,
using technology to create an urban garden in a limited space.
Our company is currently working mainly on development projects.
In every project we create a concept to enhance the identity of individual property.
And in every project we believe in working
closely with the architect to create landscape that respects the building.
